Giving Hope on #GivingTuesday

Join us this #GivingTuesday in helping give the gift of tomorrow to a struggling veteran.
#GivingTuesday is an annual awareness campaign held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
With more than 4,800 veterans living on the streets in Los Angeles County struggling each day to get by without basic human necessities, we need your support to end veteran homelessness. These brave men and women served our country, and now need our help to regain their lives, self-worth and, even, families. As we look ahead to the New Year, we have both the opportunity and challenge to give more struggling veterans in need a fresh start in 2018.
At New Directions for Veterans, we provide veterans with the tools and resources they need to help regain their lives, including housing, meals, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, case management, job development skills, and much more.
Your support today – and everyday – allows us to fulfill our mission of empowering the brave men and women who served in the military, and their families, to lead productive and fulfilling lives, and puts us another step closer toward ending veteran homelessness.
